-
Wonderful pressing. I just can't get over how/why they decided to include/lead off the album with the awful Radio Song.
-
Super album offert pour mon noël. Chaque musique me ramène à mes années collège... Le petit côté en plus, c'est que cela faisait une éternité que je n'avais pas écouté ce groupe phare des 90'.

If this is the US version then some of the images aren't correct. My 2016 pressing shows only the Concord Bicycle logo on the back. Actually says: "(P)&(C) 2016 R.E.M./Athens L.L.C. • Under exclusive license to Concord Music Group, Inc. CRE00086" and on the next line: "Made in the U.S.A. All rights reserved. Unauthorized duplication is a violation of applicable laws." The UPC code appears to be the same (8 88072 00440 5). Additionally, the hype sticker on front shows the catalog number CRE00086 and not 0888072004405.

Other than a couple of clicks on Track #1 Side B, this copy is flat and quiet and sounds incredible. I love this album, every song on it. It transports me back to my traveling to Baltimore in the Fall of 1991. With Metallica, Nirvana, and RH, R.E.M. were on MTV everyday every hour!

Myself, like BeatlELO10538, heard no issues with my pressing of this album. Everything was clear and balanced. I cannot compare it to my original pressing because I had to sell it off for financial reasons a decade back, and those pressing are outrageously priced. This one will do the trick, and is an improvement over the CD version.

Edited one year agoTo me, it sounds fine. It sure as heck ain't what I expect, but I don't hear any major problems. Maybe I just got lucky, who knows.
-
It's just all too loud. The distortion on the first few guitar notes of Radio Song tipped me off that this would be a brickwalled mess.
