If you enjoy this album, then I would recommend this pressing. It sounds awesome, and while I only have streaming as a comparison for sound quality, who cares. If you want this on vinyl, this one will very nicely fill that gap. No issues to report.
Put through a full wash cycle then a full autocycle (wash and dry) on my HuminGuru before being played on a Pro-ject DC Evo with Ortofon 2M Blue, through the MM phono stage of the Cambridge Audio Evo 150, to my ears though a pair of Klipsch Heresy IV.
Please Note: My star rating system is based on my own beliefs and a big part of it is based on the amount of times I will actually play it, or how much that album means to me personally. -
Best I’ve heard this album! Although the 5.1 DVD is amazing too! This is definitely better than the 24bit DVD stereo though. Hope this helps!

Great pressing! Labels state 2019 Warner Records Inc. Made in the USA. Runouts match the 20th anniversary version. Anyone else has this version? Is this the correct one?

Edited one year agoFound this at a local record store thinking it was the 2019 version but it turned out to be this.
Pressing 4/5 - I have some sort of static in the left channel throughout most of Side A that is only noticeable during quieter portions, I’ll try some anti static solution and hopefully that helps. Other than that GZ did a solid job with this press, few minor clicks but no pops.
Mastering 5/5 - The CB mastering obviously sounds phenomenal and is just really well balanced in general, like other Flaming Lips albums I own. Really wide soundstage and super dynamic. If you find any version of Yoshimi w/ the 2011 CB remaster in the credits, PICK IT UP. You will not be disappointed.
Packaging 4.5/5 - Pretty much what you would expect but the jacket is decently nice and sturdy for a single LP. Artwork looks really good. I went ahead and put the disc in an anti static inner.
Overall this is incredible and will make a good sound system explode. If you don’t own this album, you definitely should check it out.
