Notes
Hype sticker:
Music from the film by Jonathan Demme and Talking Heads, newly remastered
Special limited-edition 2-LP package features the complete show on vinyl for the first time
Also includes original booklet with additional liner notes written by Tina Weymouth, David Byrne, Chris Frantz, and Jerry Harrison
Packaged like the 1984 limited edition pressing but in a wide-spine sleeve.
Booklet is a reproduction of the one included in the 1984 limited edition pressing, but with additional pages featuring never before seen photos and essays.
Tracks A6 and C4 are identified as previously unreleased.
This version is similar to the 2023 Optimal Pressing with the following differences:
- "Made in Canada" sticker on back of sleeve of sealed copies
- Runouts indicate GZ catalog numbers "264061E"
This version is also similar to the 2024 reissue Talking Heads - Stop Making Sense (Music From A Film By Jonathan Demme And Talking Heads), but that version's booklet has fewer pages, focusing on the new material.

2024 repress has a barcode number of 603497824007 found on the side of the red hype sticker. There is no barcode on the back of the jacket like on the 2023 version.

How is it possible for a limited edition vinyl to be repressed? Is there anything beyond the "limited edition" label today beyond FOMO? Genuinely curious.

If you can find a copy at a great price, get it! But you’ll probably not find this at a garage sale for a long time so do what works. The book is great and my press is perfect. Obviously there are many ways to listen to this, but we’re all here for the physical media experience, ignore the haters who weren’t fans enough to pre-order.

You have to assume that nobody actually buys records off Discogs and just come here to marvel at how much there collection is (not) worth,as this still available literally everywhere from general retailers.
-
Note that an entirely different release is coming in April 2024, which will be a different Discogs entry from this one.

Repress preorders available from A24 as someone pointed out, but this press is also available from fnac now:
https://www.fnac.com/SearchResult/ResultList.aspx?SCat=0%211&Search=stop+making+sense+vinyl&sft=1&sa=1
Still pretty expensive there but beats paying a scalper $130. -
New vinyl release of the full soundtrack coming in March from A24: https://shop.a24films.com/products/stop-making-sense-the-soundtrack
