Some clown put the stickers upside-down in the opposite corners on mine - prolly didn't know which way is up.

How lucky we are to have this music. This version of China / Rider may well be the most definitive and certainly beats the pants off the E72 rendition. Get it while you can.

When it comes to the Dead, we all have an "embarrassment of riches." And while critique is always healthy, it sometimes bugs me to see people complaining. Yeah this is obviously not the "best" show of the tour, but there is an energy and excitement here that crackles throughout and is still contagious after 50 years. They're about to invade Europe, folks! And for all those people complaining about the card stock sleeves that can scratch your records, PRO TIP: you can sleeve these in a nice MoFi or MoFi-style inner with a rice paper backing, and they slip nicely into the lovely, printed card stock ones. They may poke out a little bit, but they fit perfectly in the box. Try it, I've been doing it since I started collecting these, out of the same concerns as you. It's an easy fix!

Another outstanding Europe 72 vinyl release. All around excellent mastering, pressing, and recording quality! Great to have the one that started off the tour

Hope they continue this release series until we have all of the Europe 72’ shows. With the 3 RSD releases and the Lyceum box we’re already about a third of the way there. But for the life of me I don’t understand why they can’t use polylined sleeves. Luckily I didn’t notice any scuffing like there was on the first RSD release. But it’s still always more of a risk when they just use the paper.
-
Just beautiful packaging (besides the paper inners) and sound, just like the other two E72 releases. Dead silent (see what I did there) and wraps you in that familiar cozy sound that all those shows have. Really glad I have all three of the releases, even if this isn't one of the better shows from the tour.
The only bummer is the insert was somehow packaged wrong and got bent in the box. -

This is not the best show from the tour but it’s still worth owning because it’s Europe 72, duh.
I still hope they release the Bickershaw show because that’s one of their best performances ever -
Inner sleeves continue to suck balls, otha then they look roight rippah. Chip, chip. Overall 5 stars, ehhh ya know what I'm sayin'

Edited 2 years agoSame old printed paper inner sleeves. They really have to put these in poly lined ones, for this kinda price. Had to bring back my first set — major white raised pressing defect on side A.
