Edited 5 years agoVery nice pressing. No popping sounds or any surface noise. (at least none that I noticed)
Sounds also less compressed than the streaming version of the album.
The color of the LP looks nice. -
Edited 6 years agoi was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this pressing! my copy has little to no surface noise, and most of it goes unnoticed. an incredible album made by some incredible people, pick up this pressing if given the chance!

My copy has loud popping noises on track seven that are so loud they break through the music and, especially, totally ruin the quiet ages on that song. Does anybody else notice this? Going to see if it's audible on the ed version. Aside from that the mastering is really good, everything sounds great. And it's a damn good record!

I can confirm the pressing quality of this release is surpringly good (especially in light of the terrible Phoebe Bridgers Solo LP pressing on the same label... and I own a lot of bad to terrible pressings of Dead Oceans...).
On this one though, there are only slight hints of surface noise, the dynamics are great (really great), there is no inner groove distortion and the LP itself is also a heavyweight and flat disc. Plus the price is reasonable and the color fits the artwork. I must confess that I am downright amazed. If your copy is noisy I recommend you give it a good clean - beneath the (dirty) surface lies a highly recommendable pressing. -
Just got mine in the mail today from Amazon. Wish I could say the same but there is some annoying surface noise on both sides.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of this pressing! Lovely color, unique packaging and excellent soundstage on my stereo. Highly recommended!
