Adequate pressing, although it does sound a little compressed. The center hole was small on my copy.
-
My copy also sounds really good. Not surprisingly good, but unexpectedly dynamic and deep. Very clear and clean. Flat record, one skip but that could be due to first play. Very happy with it!
-
This is a decent pressing, but to echo other reviews it does sound more compressed on vinyl than Spotify.

Fantastic quality with my copy. Rich sound and although a little dirty at first, after a quick clean I did not encounter any of the noise that others speak of.
-
Overall, the pressing sounds good. However, there's a weird continuous popping noise on my copy in between Didn't Know What I Was in For and Sleepwalkin'. Don't know if that's just my copy--would love to know if anyone else has this issue.
-
The pressing is definitely adequate, but not perfect: some surface noise & slightly off-center wooshing.
The SQ though is pretty good. Nice dynamics. Percussion is if-fy but I reckon it to be baked into the recording & mix.
Worthy purchase.

wonderful pressing!! so clean and crisp and the bass is amazing. would definitely buy again in other color if i could! love phoebe and conor <33

Agree with Cardiff_Giant below; great pressing of a fantastic recording. Could benefit from a deeper cleaning than what I've been able to do so far.

Edited 4 years agoSomeone asked recently if any modern pressings sound as good as classic records from the 70s/80s. I said yes, and mentioned this one as an example. It sounds stupendous. Unsurprisingly, it was mastered by Bob Ludwig.
