I don't care what you think about the source, this has to be the definitive version of this album. It's better than the Mono box set version (which is also excellent). It's so lively, so deep in the sound, it really has a wonderful "in the studio with the band" vibe to it. There's more energy on this than I've heard on previous versions (CDs, records, etc.). This is the first version I've ever heard where Bob's voice and the harmonica never grated or fatigued. Highly recommended. MOFI really knocked this one out.

How come it can sound that good? Desolation Row in just one side, the bass definition, the vocals.

Believe the hype. This is a stunner. It's not even close between this and any other mono version I've heard previously, vinyl or CD. This destroys them all. Dylan's voice is so clear, and the whole mono image is very lifelike - layered, nuanced, and three dimensional. I've got plenty of criticism for other MoFi titles, but not for this one! Get it!!

Wow as mentioned before, this pressing is terrific. The sound quality, compared to the album I played before listening, is clearly 100 times better. Usually not a fan of the 45rpm albums that you have to keep getting up to change, but this was worth it. Not so familiar with this particular Dylan album, so to hear the nuances and organic rich sound so well, as well as a fabulously clear vocal, means this album can be appreciated more. Great work MOFI!

Yes, this pressing sounds fantastic. It didn't quite blow me away like the mono MoFi of Bringing It All Back Home does, but this still sounds great. Both discs are quiet and flat on each side.

Anyone who has this version . How does it sound compared to a single repress ? And is the audio sound so much better in this version compared to other "normal" pressings ?
