Looking for the best pressing of this album, is this the one?

Some distortion/sibilance on side C where the music crescendos or Dylan's vocals peak (hard to tell if it's the pressing, the tapes, or my setup) but otherwise sounds very nice.

Just became my new favorite album. Wow. So glad I went with the Mono vs. Stereo.

Mine was sealed. I then found out about mofigate. I’ll worry about tracking a good clean analogue copy later.
I didn’t appreciate the dishonesty in how these were marketed to be something they were not. Shame on you MFSL!

Great record and it makes more than sense to own the mono issue of this release - I mean it is basically just 'one column' of sound emitters that have been recorded (him singing, him playing the harp and the guitar) and there simply is not more (on) stage. That's why I find this release particularly enjoyable even though I am not the biggest Dylan fan.

I have to mention, though, my copy came with 2x record 1. I am writing to Acoustic Sounds hoping they can supply the missing record.

This title is being sold at a bargain right now! Limited to 3000 won't last long. Definitely the best version of this album stereo or mono.

I am now comparing this to the record from the Sony Legacy box set album. It isn't a presence that jumps out at you proclaiming, "Here I am. Listen to me!" No, when you listen to it, even with quite good equipment it is still a record, however the presence of a lone guitar and sole voice is just this side of real. What it reminds me of acoustically is someone playing at a short distance at the town stage (I live in a smallish town in Maryland with a covered stage on the edge of the grounds of City Hall) As it plays it sounds more and more palpably real and "there". MOFI hads hit a home run out of the park with this pressing.

Don't think I don't like my box set. Far from it. However, as side B plays through I am left aware of the very real step up from the presence of the voice and guitar and occassional harmonica. I realize it's "just" a record, but it sounds more and more like Bob came to my apartment to play for me. What more can I ask for?
