The second best part about buying this great old pressing is Morrissey gets no money.

My copy is flat, centered, and super quiet. Do not mistake vocal sibilance (specifically the first few tracks) for the delivery and mastering; I can detect hints of it on various digital cd / streaming or compressed vinyl compilation presentations in my experience (that's just Moz).

This was like hearing the album for the first time vs. the 2012 stampers in wide circulation today (all of those are excellent rm's). The last third of 'Thorn in His Side' is sonically emotional and kind of breath taking.

Every track manages to capture maximum dynamics in a warm, engaging sound stage...never loses control regardless of power applied. 11/11 post-punk audiophile pressing.

A wonderful pressing for a legendary LP. I played it on my Debut Carbon record player with a Denon receiver, the quality of the sound is crisp, the bass line is strong, overall very happy with this pressing

I just ultasonically cleaned my version of this and I have to say this pressing doesn't sound great to my ears. Lots of sibilance in the vocals.
