Spent some time out of the vinyl game for a bit. I was used to MPO being one of the better plants, I’ve had to return SEVERAL of their pressings lately for all the reasons cited in other reviews. Very sad.

Edited 10 months agoi have loads of new releases pressed by MPO from various labels & almost all have ended up with marks just from removing them from the sleeves, have pressing defects & even sealed stuff is covered in marks, worst quality control ever. the thing is i have loads of MPO pressings of releases from the 80s, 90s & 2000s & they dont get marked so easily & are much better quality. stuff from 2010 onwards is really bad quality pressings & is like quality control went down the pan

Bad quality control. I was well aware of its bad reputation but still decided to give it a go for my collection, and the record could barely fit into the spindle because the play hole was too small.

Easily the worst pressing plant around right now. I've never heard a quiet record from them. Even GZ and United have improved.

I got Pantera Far Beyond Driven. I was anxious to get it on vinyl as I've worn out probably 5 CD copies over the years and to my dismay.....it was THE WORST PIECE OF CRAP I have ever heard on vinyl. I will be avoiding MPO pressings going forward no matter what artist or how badly I may want the album. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!

French can't do it no more it seems. Got the terminator album, mint, scratches on LP, bunch of noise. Just bad.

Big scratch ruins track A3 of Blood on the Tracks. Based on that and bad reviews from others I’ll avoid MPO pressings going forward.

Lots of 90s House tracks were pressed or mastered by MPO. Very good quality for those. The recent ones lost on quality it seems... I have quite a few 2021/2022 titles mastered at MPO and they were full of clicks and crackles. Such a shame for what was before a quality standard.
