My copy is substantially better than the original that I have. The original has a bit more sparkle but this is an eq choice of the original master. On my system this re-issue sounds amazing; overall clarity of vocals, soundstage and mid bass is superior.
Loss of one star for pressing quality. Noisy pressing out of the package but cleaned up well with my VPI 16.5

Excellent pressing with good soundstage, especially on ‘Beware My Love’ on the main album. Unfortunately, I don’t have an original to compare to.

Anyone compare this to an original? I picked it up and although it sounds excellent, it kind of sounds filtered, like it's not wide open and clear/crisp. I noticed the same with David Bowie's Let's Dance. The original has clarity and depth. The new remaster sounds a little filtered with possibly a little more heft. I wish there was a way to get new pressing of original mastereings and I wish there was some sort of certification process to ensure it. I get engineers wanting to remaster things for whatever reason, but some of us would love new perfect copies of original masters.
