I've always had a soft spot for this album, knowing full well it's fluff. Often irresistible fluff. Beyond the two hits that lead off each side, "Beware My Love" is an actual fleshed out rocker, and "San Ferry Anne" is one of my favorite Macca album tracks. Denny Laine's "Time To Hide" is also a standout. On the other hand, album closer "Warm And Beautiful" might be the most flaccid song McCartney ever released. I'm playing a 1976 Winchester pressing, it's an improvement on VENUS AND MARS, but still a bit murky in the mid-section. My copy plays with occasional light surface noise, and a skip on "Silly Love Songs". -
Has 2 of my favorite songs of all time since I was a young child. The rest are ok but a definitely not of the same caliber. I love having it in my collection as a reminder of my childhood. My pressing sounds great. Recommended -
