This pressing is amazing. It’s really silent which is needed given how sparse the production is on this thing. The mastering on this is really good too. Pink Moon is a masterpiece of an album. This pressing is worth every penny.

This is my wife’s, but I listen sometimes, like I am now. It does sound intimate and real. Most striking, though, is how black the background spins. This truly stands in a special class of quiet vinyl. Why isn’t AP Clarity Vinyl this silent?

Edited 2 years agoCould be better honestly. This vinyl record was pressed with way too much bass. At least there's hardly any surface noise present. Also it comes in a lousy cardboard sleeve that will scratch your record. 7/10.

Never knew this was mastered and cut by Sean McGee. Makes sense, it sounds unbelievable. As good as any audiophile album I own, and on silent vinyl to boot!
-
This album is so beautifully personal and intimate. This pressing invites Nick in to the room with you. Super revealing and one of my better sounding records. Which was a pleasant surprise. Hard to picture this sounding much better. Maybe at 45rpm by QRP.

My copy seems to
Match up matrix wise and barcode . I was skeptical but this is a beautiful reissue dead silent no noise , would be hard to top unless you could pay big money for a mint first press , don’t think the difference would be life changing. A most beautiful album , don’t hesitate. -
Edited 2 years agoNo hype sticker or card.
Master and pressing are beautiful and absolutely zero noise as befits such a bare and intimate recording.
the art production looks lovely enough.
This might be missing a touch of something compared to a 1st pressing but I’ll not be paying the piper to find out. -
Record sounds just fantastic BUT the center hole in my copy is not centered perfectly which makes this unbearable to listen to, especially with headphones. :(
-
Just purchased a sealed copy and mine did not include a B2B hype sticker or card. Anyone else have the same? Vinyl looks unplayed and dead wax numbers match this pressing.
