There is one more song which is not both on the sleeve and label. 8th is "Dark is the Night" from "Ry Cooder" 1970, Blind Willie Mctell cover.

Nice of Rhino to dig out this treasure for the fans. Interested parties, please note: although the album cover shows Ry playing an electric, the performance is (solo) acoustic

Wow. Probably one of the best sounding releases I purchased at RSD this year. Crystal clear “in the room” dynamics.
Worth way more than the asking price for audiophiles

Very good sound recording of this radio show, Ry Cooder is in the room. Great acoustic set.
It's a shame the cover photo isn't consistent.
First archival collection on hype sticker so i hope for next releases in particular " Santa Cruz show"

Hmmm... The Ry Cooder Radio Show version referenced above has the first four tracks from this Main Point session recorded back in November of 1972 (originally as a broadcast on Philly's WMMR), But that one includes "Cleanup at Home/Liquor Store" and "President Kennedy" which do not seem to be on this vinyl... The "COMPLETE" set?!? I am not too sure about that...

Do you have a mono setting on your stereo? This is one of the few albums that you are lucky enough to need it! Nice pressing, high fidelity, vocals pushed to the left channel, guitar is pushed to the right channel.

I love Ry and have no regrets about the purchase (it was only $23) but buyer beware: the recording quality, while soundboard-quality in of fidelity, still has Ry's guitar almost entirely in the right speaker and his voice almost entirely in the left speaker.

Musik, Klang hervorragend ABER was soll diese extreme links/rechts Abmischung? Ry sitzt sehr weit links und seine Gitarre ist rechts außen…
Sehr merkwürdig. Schade, dass mein Verstärker keine Mono Taste hat
