Kind of annoying that they'd spend time and money reissuing this on vinyl when they know that everyone is dying for New Order: Substance. Oh well.
-
My vinyl pressing of this sounds amazing. The sound is rich and clear and full. No complaints there.
They pulled a cross-section of songs that I appreciate. It's a collection that may not please everyone, but the fans of both bands are likely to enjoy the whole album. If you only like one band or the other, it's a little more iffy that you'd want this one. I am absolutely happy with it, though. -
I was very surprised with how good the sound quality on this CD is. The original 12 inch version of Blue Monday is probably the most excellent mix of the song I’ve ever heard. I don’t typically listen to CDs and this particular one sounds really good.
