Edited one year agoThis release bests the 2020 release in my opinion. PJ Harvey's voice sounds more human less shrill. On the whole the 2020 release is harsh compared to this 2001 pressing.

Doesn't make any sense to buy it now for this money, since it will be re-pressed soon in high quality on heavy vinyl. Yey! -

My copy of this pressing sounds fantastic as well. Not the quietest vinyl but a great sound.

I just picked up a copy at a local record shop and the sound quality on this is absolutely amazing. Bass is nice, guitars crisp, no semblance in the voice, overall, I'm super happy about this pressing. Not sure if she'll allow another repress, however, I highly recommend this one for any fan of hers. -
This is one of the great releases Universal had cut by Willem Makkee. Most of them sound spectacular and can be identified by the "320" (code for ) in the deadwax.

anyone knows how the quality is? is it better than cd? how does it compare to the vinyl first pressing of this album? -
as much as I like the idea of first pressings, this one does sound much much better than the 1995 release.
