Although great mastering, this vinyl copy is full of unwanted intrusive clicks and pops... Washing do little result. Avoid !

My fav PJ Harvey album and I think it's still her best record. Happy to put my hands on the repress finally because original one is bloody expensive. The quality of repress is just stunning, the paper, sleeves, sound quality is flawless!

Over time, this album has become one of the ones I most often return to from the entire PJ Harvey discography! Classic.

Undoubtedly my favorite PJ album. What a beautiful music, so many interesting musical experiments. Great sound overall - vocals are just in the room, instruments are alive. Just a bit lack of clarity in top end for me (but that’s how it sounds initially). Little to no surface noise - a lucky copy.
So happy with all these albums reissues.

Does anyone noticed the wrong songs order on the 180 gram reissue of the album on side B?
            I got such order:
            B1: The River
            B2: No Girl So Sweet
            B3: Is this desier?
            B4: Electric Light
            B5: The Garden
            B6: Joy
I have the original pressing on the album as well and I am just confused about this reissue and this different order...

Agreed with previous comments telling this pressing is crackly, more noticable on side 2. This record in overall sounds also a bit too low, even compared to its Demos. However considering the current prices, it is worth buying it. My favourite PJ Harvey album with the darker and beastier "To Bring You My Love" :)

Side 2 on mine is pretty crackly, right out of the shrink (whereas my Bring and Stories from this series are pristine). Could be bad luck, could be a bad batch. This title disappeared from U.S. stores for a while, and recently came back.

My favorite PJ Harvey album, though in a minority about this most likely. My life is much better with this vinyl finally reissued. Worth the wait.

Was dismayed to hear some general sonic mushiness (don't know how else to describe it) on Side B starting with "The Garden". Something doesn't sound right, it sounds veiled on my copy. Pretty much goes through the rest the of the tracks on side B. I've spin-cleaned the record once when I got it earlier this year.

A good but not great pressing--unfortunately, as its probably my favorite PJH record. Anyone know what the source for this reissue was?

Sounds great in general on side A but I've found side B to be a bit on the noisy side for a new pressing, lots of pops particularly on the first track on B.
