The Police – Synchronicity

Wow, just Wow! I have this record in other pressing from Argentina and i also have the Bob Ludwig CD remaster from 2003, and i prefer by far this OG press. Amazing sound and rich powerful in your face mid, upper and bass. All the tracks gain life. I understand why some times, the first time was done better than ever.

Great sounding pressing coloured vinyl is just beautiful. Mids are fantastic. Is this an Abbey Road half speed master? There’s not a lot of info other than made in .

Things come full circle if you live long enough. For buying vinyl these days you can buy new releases by artists I've never heard of or anniversary reissues of your favorite classics. Such is the case here with Synchronicity. I buying it in my roaring 20's when it first came out and played it to death, especially side 2. Now four decades later after retiring I'm finally getting time to revisit these gems with bonus tracks, some pretty good and some just ok. I will say this package was well done with the extensive liner notes being quite interesting. Mastering is close to the original too. I'll probably stick with just this two disc version over the mega bucks four lp offering.

I have all five Police studio albums and this is easily the best pressing out of all the ones I have. Every song just jumps out of the speakers and dares you to play it even louder. Grab a copy when you can.

This cut differs from the Deluxe vinyl box set and sounds better. I wish they had whoever cut this 2 disc version cut the box set.
