Red (Taylor's Version), released on November 12, 2021, is a re-recording of singer-songwriter Taylor Swift's fourth studio album, Red (2012). The re-recording venture is Swift's countermeasure against the sale of the masters to her first six studio albums.
Consisting of 30 tracks, Red (Taylor's Version) contains re-recorded versions of 20 songs from the deluxe edition of Red; Swift's charity single "Ronan" (2012); six new "from the Vault" tracks that were intended for the 2012 album; the 10-minute-long, uncut version of "All Too Well"; and Swift's own versions of "Better Man" (2016) and "Babe" (2018), both of which she wrote but had been recorded and released by American country music bands Little Big Town and Sugarland, respectively.
Swift and Christopher Rowe produced most of Red (Taylor's Version), with additional production by Aaron Dessner, Jack Antonoff, Paul Mirkovich, Espionage, Tim Blacksmith, Danny D, and Elvira Anderfjärd. Original collaborators Shellback, Dan Wilson, Jeff Bhasker, Jacknife Lee, and Butch Walker also returned to produce the re-recorded renditions of tracks they had worked on in 2012. Singers Phoebe Bridgers and Chris Stapleton contributed guest vocals on the album alongside original features from Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol and Ed Sheeran.

Can anyone comment on this pressing compared to the Made in and Made in pressings? Sound quality and packaging wise. -
Edited 2 months agoOverall, my copy plays great, but very disappointed in the packaging of this record. The 4LPs barely fit in the outer sleeve and are slicing through the inner sleeves.

I love the songs on this album, especially atwtmvftvtv. I also love the photos they put on the booklet. UNFORTUNATELY there is NO lyrics of the og songs, only for the valut tracks, which i may say, DISSAPOINTING, but i love the vocals and overrall i love this album, not too much because Speak Now better -
sound quality is really good, especially for a 4 LPs record. -
i got the french pressing and the sound quality is overall good, but side c is pressed off centre. it's not enough to make the record unplayable, but i can clearly hear the difference, which pisses me off lol but fortunately the other sides are perfect -
Edited 9 months agoDamm this record sounds fantastic. Recording, mixing, mastering are an enormous step up from the original and the pressing is super quiet and distortion free. Belongs to the top tier in my opinion, it's not promoted as audiophile edition but I had such versions from other artist that where more expensive and sounded much worse.

Great album, great pressing.
It's sad that these don't get pressed in the US, as these 45 RPM pressings always play at 45.11 RPM (Because they are mastered in Europe) and therefore are a little too slow on Quartzlock turntables. -
This is Taylor Swift best album By a mile its only album l have of hers on vinyl... all the others l have on cd... Ex her lastest one which l have given it away... Because its so Dull And Boring...

My German copy has warp on all 4 records, but not enough to cause issues. 4 records in a tight shrink is a likely cause. The sound however is very good, dead black background. Great soundstage. Terrific album.
