I bought a variant of "Folklore" from my local record store that I do not have and I think that it may be a new variant. The Parental Advisory sticker has a small white border, the title "folklore" appears above the track list, and there is a faint "taylor swift" on the top left corner of the back cover. The albums did NOT have "made in" stickers. The color of the variant is brown/beige and the matrix number is:

I am ittedly an older music fan considering Ms Swift's demographic fan base but I would like to think that I try to stay somewhat current with today's music scene. I have purchased most of her albums but have not generally gone back to listen to them that often. Maybe it's because I buy a wide range of music and time is limited as I generally find myself going back to my favorites from the 60's-70's and 80's.
However, when I read about the positive reviews and her collaborators, such as Justin Vernon (Bon Iver), and Aaron Dessner (The National), I took the plunge.
This is so far, the best album I have heard in a long time. It is a breakthrough album for me similar to Kacey Musgrave's "Golden Hour" from last year. I would say this is clearly the best Taylor Swift album for my tastes by far. The songs and arrangements are beautiful and offer a much broader range of subjects than she has written about before. It reminds me of some of my favorite albums from other artists such as the Pet Shop Boys album "Behaviour". There's a melancholia which permeates the proceedings but it fits the current mood we are in. I have listened to it several times so far which is honestly more than I can say for most of the new music I have bought recently.
In short, I expect this to be a strong contender for the Grammys next year, and unless something better comes along soon, it may just monopolize the awards next year.
Maybe the pandemic has put us into a more introspective mood but whatever the story behind these songs - the net result is a career peak - at least to this music fan.
Thanks Taylor for a career album.

Check out her unplugged concert on Disney+ for some insight and a great socially distanced gig!

Would anyone with a different alternate cover be willing to trade for the red meet me behind the mall edition?

There's at least 2 different US pressings of the 2023 RSD release. The lighter version has Made in Mexico printed on the back shrink. The 40gram heavier version has a small Disney+ hype sticker in the bottom right of the front.

2020 has been saved. As a longtime Taylor fan, this has to be up there with my favourites...an excellent album

I wonder which one of the vinyl variants will become the most coveted one.
