beware: this release is *not* the same as the early Jah Guidance pressing (I have both to compare). I believe it's the same as the Greensleeves release but haven't checked.
the sleeve is a poorly printed disco jacket type with no spine & no green red & white border, though it accomodates a full size inner sleeve.
matrix info seems to be as per: Scientist vs. Prince Jammy - Big Showdown but it's so feint, that it's very difficult to read.
the labels on my copy are the same although red not blue.
sound quality is surprisingly good & the pressing is above average for a Jamaican pressing. -

my jah guidance copy has titels and words in red colour on the labels, the sleeve is a bad copy with one centimeter wide white bar at the left side of the front sleeve and small white bar on top of the record.. -

This Jah Guidance release is a completely different LP than its Greensleeves variant, consisting of Barrington Levy dubs which feature sparing use of traditional dub effects. These dubs are exclusive to this release, were aimed solely at the Jamaican market, and are highly sought after among many in the reggae collecting community. -

this is still the same LP Scientist V Prince Jammy just with a slightly different song list and dub mixes. the Greensleeves version was geared towards the european market while the Jah Guidance version is geared towards the bass heavy Jamaican sound system culture. Both LP's feature Scientist and Prince Jammy on alternating tracks. This release needs to be added to the master release of Scientist V Prince Jammy and not a "unknown" stand alone release. -

My Jah Guidance copy of the Evil Curse of the Vampires LP is an ex press and mastered great, sounds awesome -

If you score the Jah Guidance versions of these Scientists LPs, don't expect to find the same fidelity as in Greensleeves pressings. The Jah Guidance pressings can be pretty rough.
