A MUST have! One of the best 'original' dub LPs of all time*(see below) and certainly Scientist's best. The Barrington Levy/Roots Radics riddims kill anything the Radics did later. Scientist out performs other dub mixers with his sense of timing, use of unusual effects and his sense of fun and humor is obvious in his mixes.
BTW, I agree with the other commenter that the Werewolf Mummy Vampire LP is not all that great compared to this, although it does have great track intros ("I waaant bloood HA HA HA!!!") and cover art.

      * Meaning only dub LPs released as dub LPs back in the day, not newer compilations of dub tracks.
Other all-time great dub LPs include Joe Gibbs + Errol T - African Dub Chapter 3, Niney the Observer - Sledgehammer Dub, Errol Brown/Duke Reid - Treasure Isle Dub Part 2, King Tubby/Winston Edwards - King Tubby Meets The Upsetter At The Grass Roots Of Dub (AKA Roots + Society) and a few more...

This album is such a masterpiece. This is due to many elements. The music itself, the perfect recording, the sound of the instruments, the incredible voice of Barrington Levy, and the cherry on the cake, the mixing by the Scientist. Despite the popular rating that makes the Vampire album his best output, I personnaly think that The Heavywheight Dub Champion is without a doubt his best work. The theme makes it clear : a boombastic punchy bass straight in your face to reach your powerless dancing bones. This first UK press is clean with the heavy rolling & grooving bass and a lot of dynamics when it comes to the mix of the instruments. This is the best dub album ever. Definitely. Get it without risks !

One of the wickedest dub records I've ever heard. Ultra dark rhythms, Barrington Levy vocal snippets over the tunes, and the trademark Scientist "into-oblivion" echo effects. Highly recommended.
