My LP Side A came with a melted aspect in the pressing and with a lot of noise. Anyone else like that?

I am surprised that I enjoyed the album. The reason I really love records is that I listen to the entire thing and it's allowed me to find artists I would never normally listen to. All three of his records are pretty good front to back.

This is an absolute classic, with a very digital sound. Exaggerated bass and tinny trebles, and loud enough that any surface noise is buried.

In any case, I expect this is the best way to hear the most essential album of the COVID-19 pandemic.

I have the vinyl release of this album, and it sounds better than the CD. The CD is too loud and compressed. Specially the first few tracks until the softer, more acoustic tracks. You have to EQ it all the way past the zero threshold to get it sound nominal. Too bad. I have other CD' stemming from 20 years back that suffer from the same issue.

Sound: perfect sound quality and volume, no surface noise noticeable

my etchings and all other identifiers indicate i have this version but NOT splatter. Classic black, anyone else?

Just picked this up at Target and found out that I have 2 of the same discs, missing the entire first part of the album I have 2 side Cs and 2 side Ds

The vinyl sounds fantastic! However, I don't know how much quality control there was during the production of the pressing. The edges of my vinyl were not cut super precisely; they had a bunch of debris. Same on the actual surface of the vinyl, it had dust everywhere. Nevertheless, after giving the vinyl it a good clean, I don't find it impacts the sound! Fine Line continues to be one of my favorite albums of all time, and this vinyl makes me appreciate it even more.

The surface noise sounds like static which I can't get off no matter how hard I try.
The music sounds great but those clicks and pops in the background are annoying.
