Amazingly bad pressing! To the point where it becomes unlistenable. Bad effort from either engineers or the pressing plant …. Or both

The album is superb. Somehow the quality of the pressing isn’t the best, considering the mastering engineer is Chris Bellman. It’s clear, detailed allright but lacks that large soundstage -
My pressing sounds fine. The songs are unparalleled. I do get the occasional suffice noise even after cleaning. I agree: does not seem like 180 grams… -
Edited 2 years agoVery good album and very good pressing, with meaty bass, and a raw visceral sound. It may need a washing because a fresh copy tends to have some surface noise, but after cleaning and a couple of spins it becomes very nice.

I don't know if anyone else noticed this with theirs, but my pressing is DEFINITELY not 180g. I can't see any other release though so surely it must be this one. I feel like I am crazy! -
descambiado dos veces por crujidos, la tercera copia perfecta , no dudeis en descambiar si podeis, que el prensado es bueno...
swapped twice for creaks, the third perfect copy, don't hesitate to swap if you can, the pressing is good...

I got it today. High quality recording, antistatic inner envelope. Alex Turner's voice is real in my room. I recommend this edition. -
Sorry folks! Same here. Bought this new and sealed back in 2014 and opened it just now. Bad pressing. Lotsa cracking. No skipping thouh. Strange thing is, that the dynamics r pretty good on the other hand. Nevertheless im afraid to it that i'll go and get me a CD version of this, because the music is nice. This wax isn't worth the money.

Very bad pressing quality, lots of crackling. It is not statics but proper crackling. Dynamics are good though...
