Can't believe how good this sounds for a record that's over four decades old. If there's a better-sounding version out there, I'd love to hear it. Punchy, crisp, vibrant, in your face. Thank you vinyl gods!

The Game and The Works are my favorites Queen album; this version doesn't cost a kidney and is very good IMHO.

My 1980 copy from Holland (played couple of hundred times in more than 40 years) sounds even better than this one (new copy).
Lots of ticks, pops and surface noise (after wet cleaning).
The half speed mastered black vinyl version sounds a lot cleaner than the silver one as well.
Probably in the US it is a bargain this version, but buying walmart versions over here in Europe isn't.

I have a quite beat up copy (the sleeves are barely Good condition). However, looks like the LP survived as there is barely any surface noise and no skips!

Beautiful soundstage, high dynamic range and overall the sound is very wide and deep. It does seem like the clarity of the music could’ve been better if the EQ was a bit more balanced. Treble is a tad bit dull and midrange is quite high. As a result, it sounds a bit muddy but definitely not a “mud bath” like some other records I own.

I love listening to this record front to back and happy to finally own it!

Sound and Recording are marvellous - but it is not the greatest Album of Queen exept of Another One Bites The Dust & Crazy Little Thing Called Love they are 5 plus but the rest ... hmmmmm
Performance 3,5 stars
Sound definitely is at least 5 stars
Thus 4 ,25 in total - I am sorry ✨✨✨✨

1992 reissue of the 1986 issue. Parlophone on disc but EMI on artwork! The catalog was remastered in 1993 and Digital Master Series is on the disc, back and booklet as is Parlophone.
