Edited one year agoSound and Recording are marvellous - but it is not the greatest Album of Queen exept of Another One Bites The Dust & Crazy Little Thing Called Love they are 5 plus but the rest ... hmmmmm
Performance 3,5 stars
Sound definitely is at least 5 stars
Thus 4 ,25 in total - I am sorry ✨✨✨✨ -
Edited one year agoAs with most MFSL cd releases, the results can be hit or miss. Most of us know that their masterings lack a bit in the high frequency dept., but in the case of QUEEN'S "The Game", there was never much high end to begin with.
I would say this is one of the better sounding MFSL gold cd's. There is a good bass response (but not overly so), and lots of punch. It sounds much better than the west german pressing, & I recently tested it against the EMI pressing from the mid 80's and it beats it easily.
