Does anybody know why the pictured vinyl has a green and purple center piece and other versions and grey and white? -
Originally posted in the 2017 "reissue" entry, now realizing I have this original without "RE" in runout - I have a different experience from the reviews below. I got this many years ago, and my copy is pretty darn good. Vinyl is quiet, minimal surface noise, and the sound is nice, rich, full. Not the greatest, I think Reunions is a better sounding cut, but this is probably better than SMTF and Southeastern. -

EDIT - Months later I realize that I do not have this pressing, as mine is not a reissue, and missing the RE in the runout. I don't know how/why there was a repress the same year as the original release, but my comments belong in a separate entry, which I'll paste in but leaving this here for continuity. -

Aside from inner groove distortion (vocal sibilance) on the last track of each side, sounds great. Mostly quiet and flat vinyl. Nice to finally have on colored vinyl! -
Sounds a little better than Southeastern and Here We Rest, but still disappointingly quiet and flat. -
Got a songbook but it looks different - has no black cover for example?

I’ve purchased new mint copy of this pressing twice and it crackles horribly even after cleaning. Anyone else have this issue. Ortofon blue cartridge/stylus cleaned after every listen -
