A Rock & Roll sound with basic Doo Wop backing vocals, often "Yeah-Yeah,” which in French is pronounced Yé-Yé. Close to Twist, which was the a term for the Rhythm & Blues / Pop mainstay employed by many bands in Quebec during the 60s. had similar francophone Pop Rock artists.
