Nice hefty 180g wax. I being thrilled to find a copy on sale in 2017. Mix is a bit muddy with an overbearing low end, tinny high end, and more distortion than there should be. Overall less than thrilling mix and somewhat narrow soundstage for a symphonic rock album.
Music is a 9/10 -
Edited one year agoAgree with many of the other comments on here, mix on this version sounds sub-par. Feels like the mix has no middle range: Manages to be both heavy on the bass and tinny at the same time. Just feels like it's missing something compared to the digital versions I've heard. Inner sleeve has a nice liner, though.

My copy not quite as bad as some have said. Very quiet pressing.
Mix is very heavy on the bass.
No problems with the left/right channel sweep that others have experienced.
Not my greatest album but pleased I got it -
Edited 2 years agoMine sounds mediocre at best - too much bass, the strange left/right channel sway on The Dream Synopsis others wrote about, and the worst part are the harshely cut, at like three consecutive stages, highs.

maybe i’m just lucky, but my pressing is incredible. not one speck of noise, and no skips. the mastering itself is amazing as well!! if i could give more than 5 stars i would.

Domino son unos hdp, me arte de darle chances. El sonido de estos tipos son un desastre. Buenísimo álbum, horrible pressing.

I`ve never buy again from Domino. This press is just crap. Quality - zero! Sounds like 128 kbps mp3.
Besides, i`ve bought two albums of Anna Calvi (Domino) - and there the same problems. Digital version sounds more power and clearly. NEVER BUY VINYL FROM DOMINO LABEL! this guys has big problems with vinyl quality
