Now 4 was released in November 1984, a week before Band Aid in fact

      Record 1 Side 1

      1. Paul McCartney - No More Lonely Nights (Special Dance Mix):
      2. Giorgio Morder with Philip Oakey - Together In Electric Dreams: Great collaboration, often mistaken as a Human League song.
      3. Bronski Beat - Why: Great follow up to 'Smalltown Boy'.
      4. Limahl - The Never Ending Story: This should have been put next to 'Electric Dreams', it's another Moroder composition. Classic film theme.
      5. Nick Heyward - Warning Sign: Great song from the Haircut 100 singer.
      6. John Waite - Missing You: Great song.
      7. Michael Jackson - Farewell My Summer Love: Like the story behind this song.
      8. Lionel Richie - Hello: Should have been on Now 3, as it's from March/April, but it's a classic song.

      Record 1 Side 2

      9. Culture Club - The War Song: Another catchy song from Boy George and co.
      10. Elton John - engers: Great song from Elton.
      11. Julian Lennon - Too Late For Goodbyes: Great song from John Lennon's son.
      12. The Style Council - Shout to the Top: My favourite Style Council song. Love the strings.
      13. Thompson Twins - Doctor! Doctor!: Great song, but should have been on Now 2 as it was released in January.
      14. Heaven 17 - Sunset Now: Another
      15. The Kane Gang - Respect Yourself: Great cover.
      16. Tina Turner - Private Dancer: Great song, written by Mark Knopfler.

      Record 2 Side 1

      1. Queen - It's a Hard Life: Freddie's single from 'The Works'; great song.
      2. Status Quo - The Wanderer: Great cover.
      3. Big Country - East of Eden:
      4. U2 - Pride (In the Name of Love): Great song from Bono and co.
      5. Feargal Sharkey - Listen to Your Father: Great song from the Undertones singer.
      6. OMD - Tesla Girls: Another great song.
      7. Kim Wilde - The Second Time: Actually the first time Kim appeared on a Now album.
      8. Nik Kershaw - Human Racing: Great song from Nik.

      Record 2 Side 2

      9. Ray Parker Jr - Ghostbusters (Searchin' for the Spirit): Iconic movie theme.
      10. UB40 - If It Happens Again: Another great song from Robin, Ali and co.
      11. Pointer Sisters - Jump (For My Love): Great song from the 84 Olympics.
      12. Level 42 - Hot Water: Another great song.
      13. Eurythmics - Sexcrime (Nineteen Eighty Four): Great song from the film of the George Orwell novel.
      14. Rockwell - Somebody's Watching Me: Great Halloween song.
      15. Malcolm McLaren - Madam Butterfly: Great synth version of the opera song.
      16. Eugene Wilde - Gotta Get You Home Tonight: Pretty song.

Another great album, but there are still some songs that missed out:

      Wham! - Freedom: Great song.
George Michael - Careless Whisper: George's first solo single.
Thompson Twins - Sister of Mercy: More recent than 'Doctor! Doctor!'
Black Lace - Agadoo: Classic party song.
Chaka Khan - I Feel For You: Great song, written by Prince.
Stevie Wonder - I Just Called to Say I Love You
Human League - Life On Your Own
Duran Duran - The Wild Boys

Excellent collection, but why did they use the horrible dance version of Paul McCartney's "No More Lonely Nights" instead of the beautiful ballad version on the single?
