Edited 4 months agoThe best 50 cent album, good sound quality. I have with Lenticular cover as it said on this release
-
50 really shines on his debut! Great set of some of the best hip-hop that was produced in the early 2000's. Considering Dr. Dre had a hand in this production, would one expect anything less than a straight up banger? Even the deep cuts are solid. A must have for any serious hip-hop collector.
I'm satisfied with this pressing even though the is a significant amount of floor noise and the rare vocal sibilance. The 'dead wax' is anything but silent. That being said, the mix is perfect; plenty of bass, vocals out front, instrumentals nice and clear.
5 stars for the music, 4 stars for the pressing. -
I have a copy of this that matches everything exactly the same but the cover is not lenticular. Anyone else?

Edited 8 years agoMany, many, many many mothafuckas should want this on wax. Chance the Rapper got nothin on this shit. Wtf happen to hip hop? Not talkin to you, Biggie (RIP). Not talkin to you, Tupac (RIP). Not talkin to you, Mr. Shawn Carter. Not talkin to you, Twista. Not talkin to you, Kendrick. All my love. East side or westside, hip hop not what it used to be. While Yeezy be losin his fuckin mind, OGs be long gone.
