i have the 2022 European pressing and they have actually messed up the soundquality of the album. there are dips in the midrange and the whole album has lost it's vibrant high fidelity soundquality. I listening to the original CD back in the day and was amazed by the soundquality and mixing of the album. It sounded like a million bucks to me. So kind of disappointed in the current masters for the vinyl, what a waste!

Ohhh, I've never understood why Snoop Doggy Dogg never stepped in to appear on "Can't C Me.", I mean he was around anyway :-) All joking aside, the features here are excellent, since I haven't heard it in a long time I realized again that people like Method Man, Redman and Danny Boy made their Eastcoast contribution, so that´s that concerning East vs. West. (I know, it was more about Bad Boy and that Puff bloke) Overall, it's probably my favorite Pac album that he released while he still walked this earth. It's so wonderfully varied, sounds absolutely brilliant, lyrically he shines, of course he does, you get straight thuggish rhymes and beats to match, but it never sounds flat, cheap or tacky, always classy, you get very tasty, delicious, smoother and tasteful vibes too, I mean this is probably Death Row sound at its best . I'm so glad I had the chance to buy this when it came out when the man was still alive and prices were still moderate. It so went out of control soon and now anyway. I don't him being treated and consumed as a god back then, especially not by such masses. But maybe I'm wrong and he was always meant to be what he is now and assumably always will be: a pop culture phenomenon and reference, larger than life. Well, this remaster version sounds perfectly fine, but I don't see any remaster qualities. Frankly, I prefer the original printing, aside from the ridiculous new inscription on the front cover, and it's one of my favourites in my collection and will stay with me until I lay myself to eternal rest, I guess.

Having the 2 on the cover of a 4lp album would usually mean they rushed things but this pressing is amazing. Not to mention, every single track is amazing.
-
DONT sell this version if you have it! since they just did a og repress, this cover wont be pressed again!

OG pressing is a million times better, both on the cd and vinyl. This album was masterfully engineered and mixed to begin with, it never needed to be remastered.

Bought a new copy of this from Death Row Records and the back side of the second record skips quite a bit. Attempted to return for a refund, the vendor asked for a photo of the damage which was provited even though there there is none visible and then never returned any further communication requests.
