After many many listens, Futurista has become my favorite Ryuichi Sakamoto's album ever. It's vivid, hopeful, funky, weird and some more, from start to finish. Great production, experimental, and easy-listening at the same time. Yes I love this more than most non-ambient albums!

If you are a Ryuichi fan, don't up this great album. Overall, it is experimental and abstract, yet has some of his most catchy pop moments. The contrast of those extremes results in a unique listening experience that is very unpredictable. Only a musician with as much talent as Ryuichi Sakamoto could make an album like this.
