An utterly stunning album. Engaging from start to finish. It was my first encounter with SW which has now blossomed into appreciating all he does...such variety - No-Man, SW, Blackfield.....

Prog-rock is an abbreviation of progressive rock but little musical genres are so conservative and strict in the leather. The English Porcupine Tree is an exception. The group around singer Steven Wilson Associates a irable work ethic (nine albums in nine years) to a a musical curiosity, to be found in this corner not often encounter. The long epic pieces and instrumental virtuosity refer to the heyday of Genesis and Marillion, the Sonic sound experiments (for example, the drum sound on Gravity Eyelids) are rather due to the later work of a (alternative) rock group Radiohead. On this album is the Porcupine Tree not managed more than ever these sick pretensions to balls together in compact pieces. On the bonus disc contains three extra tracks, as well as a video clip.

That was my first album from PT. A journey had begun and I became a great fan. It´s a masterpiece!! -
One of the finest rock albums of the 00's. I really hope this band gets the recognition they truly deserve one day.
