Magnificent album PT magnum opus their DSOTM if you like. Forget FoTBP as their finest work. This is it. Arriving somewhere but not here being the apex of this magnificence. Not one filler. Make sure you buy an uncompressed version. I’m recommending either the vinyl or the awesome DVD-A which sounds uncompressed in 2 channel or 5.1

Deadwing is re-released on 23rd February 2018 !!! All you good people selling it for more than 500$ can suck my kiss !!!!

No album is perfect, but this album is the closest that any has ever come for me. It genuinely bothers me that Porcupine Tree never got the recognition they deserved (...and I know how pathetic that sounds!).

One of their best. Deadwing and Arriving Somewhere plus Start of something beautiful are masterpieces.

ed up the chance to buy this album when the colured pressings were announced. Never dreamed the prices would skyrocket like this. I could never justify paying even $100 for an LP, will stick to the cd for now. Does anyone know if the quality of the Gates of Dawn pressings are any good, or is the value based on the limited amount made? I believe Gates of Dawn have stopped producing vinyl since 2008 so fingers crossed PT get someone else to do a new pressing soon.
