How could this high mark of the decade not have been commented on by now ?!? The songs "Fish" [ made famous on the Muses-lyric-titled 4AD comp. "Lonely Is An Eyesore" ], "A Feeling" seen in pristine vinyl form on this here mini-LP and the "Just Say Yes" Sire (Warner) CD Sampler. This is the one with Bugs Bunny on the cover (I guess you can raid the parent label's archive liberally), which was the first of many in the series, but the original was best. Hersh used to comment that a lot of her musical output was what came out of her attempts to find the "perfect guitar chord that....rings out...perfectly....". She must have been talking about this song. You could probably survive a Throwing Muses drought with only 3 songs: "Fish...A Feeling...And A She-Wolf After the War". Those sounds define the earlly band.
I was just thrilled to find out here that THE FAT SKIER's 2 vinyl sides were mastered at BOTH 33 RPM AND! 45 RPM (a- and b- respectively). How amazinglly cool is that!
