If you’re a fan of '60s pop and all the history that comes with it, this is highly recommended. The main 3 guys are at an advanced age, playing these songs as well as they did in their prime. I’m shocked by the overall sound, but also delighted to hear decent vocal accompaniment to do these backing tracks justice. Check it out. It’s fun.

Edited one month agoReally full sound - this is a focus on session musicians, most specifically Hal Blaine, so there’s some extra dialogue and effects between songs. I think it highlights an interesting perspective on some of the most well known pop songs in history. Taking songs that were originally recorded to be all about the front band - and shifting the mix to focus on the workhorses.
