Edited 4 months agoDoes anyone know where this was pressed??
As every single person before me has mentioned, this is OUTSTANDING. Simply perfect pressing, the sound is pristine, instrument separation is marvellous, it sounds so so so alive, Lanegan’s voice just hits so deep, Campbell’s voice lifts you.
I haven’t heard a pressing this good in a loooong time. This beats even some MoFi and other audiophile grade brands. PERFECT. -
To anyone that gave up on an official reissue happening and bought a bootleg copy - like I did - and is wondering if this is still worth purchasing: YES!
Not only should you do so for ethical reasons, but this also sounds light years better than that bootleg junk. Get this while you can, and hopefully their other two albums get reissued as well. -
Is this Release limited? Started looking for it today, but most of the retailers can only offer me the CD, not the Vinyl anymore....?

This sounds truly amazing. The disc itself is a good sturdy feel. It came in a lined sleeve from overseas. The lined sleeve was a good sign. I casually dropped the needle while I was tooling around the house, and I found myself stopping to focus on the sound. If this is an album that means anything to you, this is the best I have ever heard it sound.

Amazing pressing. Here's hoping that reissues of the other two Campbell-Lanegan albums are coming soon.

Edited 5 months agoJust love it. Great mastering, very good sound. Worth every cent!
Let‘s hope they do the same with the other two. -
Edited 5 months agoReally nice sounding pressing. Warm but dynamic. The juxtaposition of the two voices is fantastic, layered and full. Great release, let’s hope they plan to release the other two.

I've been hunting after an OG copy of this for the past few years, but the cost is just insane. And so I jumped on this reissue as soon as it was announced, and I could not be more delighted with the results.
The sleeve is standard and lighter card (replicating, I'm assuming, the OG). The record is 180g, flat, clean, centred and without defect.
In of SQ, it sounds very, very, very good: whisper quiet, great tonality (so the instruments sound like the instruments), and plenty of dynamics.
All in all, I'm really chuffed with this and sincerely hope that they look at reissuing the other two collaborations.
