People who own this, do not sell it. It sounds miles better than the VMP press. Much cleaner and clearer thanks to the poor effort of GZ. With the exception of some added color on the sleeve and label of the vinyl, the packaging is basically the same as well. VMP dropped the ball

FYI this is being reissued by VMP this year for ~$35 https://www.vinylmeplease.com/products/fiona-apple-extraordinary-machine

I got this copy around the time it came out in 2011 for a reasonable price. Mostly just use it to listen to "Waltz (Better Than Fine)" over and over again when the mood strikes. Was shocked at the going rate for it but also surprised by the very negative reviews, so I gave it a spin start to finish this morning, and I have to say I have to agree with the majority here. This is a poor pressing. Noisy, distorted, sibilant, and yes, plenty of surface noise. Bootleg-level sleeve with nothing extra (no lyric sheet, pictures of Fiona, etc.) Good for Crosleys and Instagram posts and that's about it.

This repress sounds weak to me. I've not heard the original vinyl, but compared to the CD it is blah - I was hoping for something much richer sounding!
