side note: upgraded my cd player recently after my old one started givin out and the cd layer didn't work in my player when it worked in my dvd player, old cd player, and disk drives before

i had to buy a cd copy used. the bonuses are cool but beware of this format. it's compatibility with hardware changes is unpredictable.

Yes minimal packaging but truly fantastic pressing, great dynamics and very quiet. Definitely recommend

Sounds pretty good! I didn’t notice any “velcro noises” as has been reported by others but I did hear little crackles throughout. Overall very satisfied! Pictures don’t do this record justice, it’s seriously one of the prettiest albums in my collection.

A bit noisy during the long fade-outs, but otherwise a good sounding mastering.

The packaging is truly below par. Extremely minimalist, which is a real shame, given the target audience (real fans and collectors of Fiona).
For the money I would have appreciated a gatefold sleeve (being a 2 record set). Could it be that difficult?
That being said, the mastering is great, the vinyl is flat, true, clean and blemish free, and also, especially given the low number of tracks per side, the music sounds totally sublime (which is the most important thing).

I agree the packaging is minimalist, but the overall sound quality is really good, too bad distortion can be heard when getting close to the center on some sides. Still very recommended.

The sound quality is fantastic with the discs being flat and clean, the same as all the other recent reissues. The only downside is the fact that the packaging sucks.

Pressing is OK. Definitely compressed sounding, but that is probably just a master not well suited to the format. My copy has a few pops on side 4 that sound like an imperfect fill.

Great pressing. Vinyl is flat. Comes with lined inner sleeves. Yes, it's true, there are no extras. But that seems to have been the case since 2005. So I'm not missing anything.

This is great. Precise dynamics and well defined. Much better than I expected.
