The limitation to 8,000 copies worldwide was too high. Therefore, this edition of the album is almost worthless. Would have been better to limit it to 4,000 copies. A missed opportunity...

The sound is very good. I haven't been able to find the right strobe setting on my phone. So the Dancing Ladies aren't dancing. Otherwise very little noise, which surprised me. Never owned a picture disc before. I'm running a 2M Bronze on my Technics 1210GR.

Probably my favorite George Harrison record of all time. My copy was stolen from me so when this came out on RSD I availed myself of a copy - it’s as good as I’ve always ed.
Though it’s full of Indian musicians, it’s not really Indian music, it’s George Harrison music played on various Indian instruments.
That he was tapped for this soundtrack was a stroke of genius because he really delivered. -
Can’t see the dancing ladies? Zoetrope effect isn’t visible without a strobe! the app ‘Strobe Light Tachometer’, turn off the room lights, and set to 1900 RPM. Enjoy - or adjust speed of strobe to your liking. Happy RSD.
