I ran an A/B between this AP-45, the UHQR, and the Rhino. I'm afraid my audiophile sensitivity is lacking because these three pressing are just incredible. There are nuanced differences between them, sure, but to me, Sax hasn't been bested by Grundman or Gray. That Sax cut is remarkable. The Grundman is warm, smooth and tasty - like an expensive small batch hickory bourbon. The Gray is energetic and fun. But probably all of these adjectives can be used interchangeably. If I had to choose one, I'd choose the UHQR because it's a little rarer at 4,500 pressings on 200g Clarity and whatever; a little more a package, I guess. But that's an arbitrary set of selection criteria and I would be thrilled to have any one of the three as my primary copy of LA WOMAN.

Absolutely brilliant pressing. Not only is this a perfect pressing but the songs are as well. I have only ever heard doors songs on the radio so I didn’t know this entire album. Sonic’s completely blew me away. One of the top records in my collection without a doubt.
Kinda confused as the 2020 listing that someone put up for this release. Made it confusing to log until I called Analog and they were confused by that also. -
ittedly, I’m not the biggest Doors fan. I listened to them growing up as my Dad was a big fan and them being played often in the house. I guess you could say I am a fan by proxy.
That said, this is an excellent sounding album and I can appreciate the effort that went into this. The end result is fantastic. Great separation with each instrument that cohesively brings a very dynamic listening experience. The vocals are very clear and loaded just up front enough to not pull away from the instruments.
Pressing is of the highest quality also - from sleeve to turntable there is zero surface noise on my copy.
Happy to add this one to my collection. -

Mind blowing soundstage overall quality is outstanding without having experienced this pressing you simply are missing out on what is considered by many Audiophiles as the best pressing in existence.
So glad I bought that I decided to buy this copy before it goes out of print forever! -

You will not regret purchasing this while it's still available. It's absolutely amazing. Same as the prior 200g pressing, but they changed to 180g in... 2020? Anyway, I didn't know this album could sound THIS good. Impressive.
