Echoing the skipping and looping - first time I've experienced this - on my new UTurn. All other records there have been 0 problems. Must be something about this pressing.

I really love Danger Mouse and this is one of the greatest albums of past decade. But the mastering is... BRUH. It's not bad, it's just... sounds worn. This is the distinguishing feature of the album, but still I expected something a little different. But when I saw that there was a CD inside... After that I don’t care about all the negatives.
Long Live Danger Mouse -
I have this copy, sealed, and it sure would be difficult to determine if it has a CD. All images are matching to the release. Even the sticker and back cover say nothing about including a CD.

First of all I love the record! Instant classic. Great wordplay, dope beats and nice features. Especially Raekwon and MF Doom shine.
But as others have stated the quality of the mastering and pressing is pretty bad. The vinyl was dirty and there was a long mark through 4 songs on one side, not audible but visible (in a sealed copy). Also the mix very low volume and sounding compressed.

Edited 2 years agoFinally found a copy in the wild at a record shop near Philadelphia. didn't expect a cd as well, nice addition.

Edited 2 years agoAmazing record - but mine is noisy. No, it's not the intended production inherent to the record. It's just noisy / thin / digital sounding. Fortunately no skipping like others. I've spun it now maybe 10 times all the way through. Fantastic record - just bummed on this press personally.

No issues with my copy. It sounds great.
For those experiencing skipping, it can happen with bass-heavy tracks near the centre of the disc. Try adjusting your tracking weight and anti-skate settings. The tracking weight will stop the needle jumping out of the groove and the anti-skate will prevent the tonearm from going back and looping.
