The Streets – Original Pirate Material

Great Classic Record. Pressing is great. Loud spots in places but one of the best new pressings I have heard. Don’t forget the original album was recorded in his wardrobe so the base recording isn’t top quality.

I have an Orange vinyl version , and audio is great. More importantly, what a timeless classic. seeing them at Reading. Watch out! Whats that coming over the hill, is it a football? Is it a football? Brilliant

cant understand some of the sellers that try to rise the price to 100 and more.
this copy isnt rare ...you can buy it almost everywhere for 29 EUR. dont pay too much.

Received today the second order of the 2022 reissue album. This is now green/blue. Sounds better than the orange pressing. Clean, clear sound with no surface noise, no loudness-war. Excellent!

This pressing is absolute garbage.

I don't quite get the great reviews as the grooves for side A ride directly into the dead wax. This leaves skipping and jumping on the final side A track, "sharp darts." B side has then smooth dead wax directly off the final groove leading to the dreaded skating needle into the label.

Second disc has similar concerns. There was just a bit too much run time for two Lps, leaving this mess behind.

Until the last tracks on the lps the sound quality is decent, and they took a digital recording and made it sound legit for vinyl.

However, me standing over the tone arm to pull my needle so I don't eat paper labels or the skipping on sharp darts without cranking my weighting out of wack for one record listen out of hundreds I own makes this press just trash. Ironically, my normal turntable is a 1200, but I usually drop the needle and turn to do work while enjoying a listen.

Take a look at the picture of the vinyl on this listing and note how close to center the grooves run. Yikes. Big miss.

If someone had pointed this out, I wouldn't have imported it.

This pressing has no right being as good as it is. The audio is fantastic, the records are flat and quiet, and the colour is great too. Easily one of my best recent buys.

ended up paying like $50 usd to get this imported from over the pond and it was well worth every penny 🔥 wish garage records were more available here in the US

Finally ! And it sounds just great. It is flawless and keeps all as it should be.

Sound quality is excellent, sexy orange vinyl, and an all time classic album. What's not to like?!

Puts the 2018 double in the dust. Not much in it Sq wise but this pressing plays quieter. This is a digital recording on vinyl so if its not quiet one might as well spin the CD. Also looks very tasty on a backlit acrylic platter with 845 tubes glowing nearby 😍
