Not totally bad but I wouldn't say great either. It sounds a bit muddy sometimes, like listening through a wall, but if you turn it up loud and you enjoy the songs I don't think it will be an issue, still enjoyable.

Good grief this sounds punchy on my vintage set up. So different from digital. Lots of bass here, in a good way, especially for how much music they packed into a single lp. I don’t have any surface noise.
-
Very bassy, muddy and overcompressed. Not brickwalled(somehow(!)). Mastering is very different from digital version. This version have much more punch and energy.
You won't hear any new details(if you will hear any. lol) and sitting in front of speakers will give you ear fatigue. This one is to dance to or to do chores or something.
My copy is noisy and clicks A LOT. But somehow it adds to experience.
If you want to sit and listen, this is a horrilble 3/10 release.
If you want to dance, headbang, do dishes, summersaults or else, don't mind noise and clicks - easy 7/10 -
Not the best in the collection but fine for so much music on each side. My copy needed a good clean but runs without background noise and skips.
Sure, a 2LP version would do this more justice but it’s still a good version of a fantastic album at a good price. -
I love Bloc Party but I am by no means a vinyl expert but I bought this 2018 pressing in 180g vinyl and I was so disappointed that I sought out and bought an original Dim Mak pressing. It is night and day. The 2018 pressing sounds noisy, dull, flat and compressed like being underwater or wearing ear plugs when listening to it. Don't waste your money on this 2018 pressing and just stream it. I suspect it will be too late for those reading this!

Had to clean the sealed pressing to remove pops and skips. I don't know what others are complaining about, this sounds great. It's far less compressed than the digital versions (had the CD back in the day). Bass guitar is CRANKED and sounds wildly distorted. Drums and vocals are super clear.

First listen this sounds really great on my system P8 and Rega aria into SPL elector and Nad M23. So a decent revealing system
Clean and dynamic just like I like my records to sound. Nice impact from the drums and there’s undeniably a euphonic feeling to it -
Yeah this really is a great pressing after a nice clean. For so much music on this single disc, it sounds really great. The album is just top notch as well.
