This is a promotional limited edition release. It includes a standard CD jewel case inside a black outer slipcase box with 'Rain Tree Crow' stencilled on it (in the same font/ format as the actual CD cover lettering) and an obi wrapped around the slipcase priced at ¥3,000. The barcode is obscured by a red promotional sticker, and the CD has 'Sample' printed on the inside centre of the CD. The jewel case contains a 12-page booklet listing credits and a slightly larger 28-page full-colour booklet including song lyrics (in both Japanese and English), photos, drawings, and liner notes (in Japanese).

On the obi is a small yellow rectangle that reads as below:
