Edited 2 months agoI agree with mnetland. Just found this clean at my local honey hole. It sounds great. Deep and powerful bass, great separation and dynamics. They did a really good job on this record transitioning between studio and live cuts (although that is more of a general comment on the recording itself…not necessarily this issue). I would also recommend if you find a clean one at the right $……although I have never compared to an original Island on my system.

I picked this one up used at about the going rate and I have to say I’m very pleased with the quality. Nice cover, sturdy inserts. The vinyl sounds great. Nice wide soundstage, solid bass, great detail in the highs. I haven’t compared this against any other version but stand-alone it sounds good enough for me to give a good recommendation! If you find one for a good price, go for it!
