Album should've had a cover of Dr Hook's When You're In Love With A Beautiful Woman.

My second favorite Bruce record. Definitely the end of one his eras but we are blessed to many to part of! My pressing is good with a little inner groove distortion but glad to have it on vinyl. Highly recommended!

I can never choose between this album and Nebraska as my favorite Bruce Albums. I love Darkness too. But this is his most pop-radio friendly album, which at the end of the day I'm a sucker for. The first three tracks on this album bring me so much joy.

As much as I love Nebraska, this album has my heart as my favorite Springsteen…it is very much overlooked in his discography, and it’s a damn shame. I was lucky enough to snag a pristine first pressing from my dad’s record collection, so I get to enjoy this album in all of it’s late 80s perfection, and truly sounds better than any other album in my collection from the same time period…if you haven’t listened to this one, and are fans of Bruce’s other work, please give it a shot, you won’t regret it!

The album in general (I'm not referring to any specific pressing) is a work of genius, perhaps the most mature meditation on love and adult romantic relationships this country has ever produced in any medium. It's also Springsteen's last truly classic record. There are great songs scattered throughout his later work but nothing approaches the translations of his life experiences as a younger man willed into aural beauty. I've had a copy of this since the week it came out and it's still getting plays 35 years later...

Absolutely amazing sounding LP, with space, fidelity & drums to die for. 'Tougher Than The Rest' is one of the best songs The Boss ever recorded.

Great pressing and very affordable. The recording is one of Bruce's best. Mellow list, but just damn solid and beautiful.

The record quality is to notch. The album itself, is Bruce's best hidden gem. It was a great follow up to Nebraska and Born in the USA albums.
