alright album, decent pressing best word for it,
“Meh”, now don’t get me wrong this album has some pretty good songs but it really isn’t it compared to DOOMs other work. -
Edited 5 months agoGreat album - bad pressing.
The fact that the entire 43 minute album is pressed on one record compromises stuff heavily. It’s cut extremely quiet - you really have to crank it - and quality control isn't great either with craters all over Side A that muddies up the low end and scratches on the flip that click throughout the first two tracks.
Was able to snag the black OG as well, exact same issues there. Got the blue & green 2xLP after that which, while the records look absolutely pristine, still has repeated clicks on some tracks. I’d honestly skip this album on wax all together and stick to digital / CD.
