Original Decca mono LPs from 1960's have wider sound stage and are more pleasurable sonically than side 1 remastered songs. There is more detail in remastered version. Still prefer originals.

No record shops in Ireland (as a whole) got any of these for rsd. I was lucky to get a copy online when it went on sale later that day. Its a mighty album. Every single and b-side from their short-lived career. Plus I got 2 signed postcards in mine. Which was nice.
-
Arguably the coolest release this drop (July 17 in US -- my local shop might have ordered it for June). I have a few other Small Faces comps on vinyl but this was was well worth the price.

Edited 3 years agoSurprisingly stellar remaster. Splatter coloured pressing looks great. Fantastic sound quality, though the packaging is poor; lack of liner notes is lazy, and the cover is flimsy. But we are here for the music, so I’ll still give it 5 ⭐️

Edited 3 years agoMod splatter looks fantastic. Quality sounds really nice except for 'Afterglow'. It seems like there is a slight background hiss but I'm not sure if this is related to the master tapes?

Disappointing that Side 2 is pressed off centre on my copy... wow/flutter on the needle... can't return as shop Sold Out!
